Challenge yourself and participate in the activity “SPiRC in EU Run and Walk – Limbazi 800”

From March 1 to March 20, we invite you to participate in the activity “SPiRC in EU Run and Walk – Limbazi ir 800”. In this period of time you have to run and walk, accumulating as many kilometers as possible. It will not be a competition in which the fastest and strongest will be determined, but an invitation to the public to engage in physical activities, doing it with pleasure and gaining positive emotions.

The challenge takes place within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Sport Possibilities in Restriction Periods”. The challenge is organized and invited by the association “BK-95” and project ambassador Kristaps Zalupe.

How will the challenge go?

Adds a sports app that will capture results (MapMyRun, Garmin, Polar, Suunto, Decathlon, etc.). Each participant adds the sports app that is most convenient for them. It can be added here.
You must apply for the competition “SPiRC in EU Run and Walk – Limbazi 800”.

When will the challenge take place?

The specific challenge will take place from March 1 to 20 (inclusive). During this time period, the distance chosen by the participant must be run or walked. Accumulate as many km as possible within 20 days.

Who can participate in the challenge?

Citizens of any age and gender can participate in the challenge, regardless of their physical fitness and location.

How to follow the results of other participants?

On the website www.distantrace.com it will be possible to follow the results of the other participants, thus promoting healthy competition with each other.

What will I get for that?

From all the participants who have collected as many km as possible, 5 participants in both the women’s and men’s groups will receive prizes.
The most active participant, who will have collected the most km, will receive a special prize.
Receipt of prizes (sending out) 03.04.-07.04.2023.

What should participants do?

Participants participate in activities of their own free will, being aware and understanding the possible risks associated with it.
Participants take full responsibility for their health.
The organizers have the right to use photos and video materials shared by the participants.
If the organizers suspect the data submitted by the participant, additional evidence may be requested.
In case of any unsportsmanlike or fraudulent activity, gross violation of rules, rude behavior, the participant may be disqualified.
