The first mobility’s day was divided into two parts. The first part was focusing on understanding what is Erasmus+ and introducing participants to the Youthpass and Europass tools. Participants learned about Erasmus+ opportunities and the benefits of Youthpass as a recognition tool for non-formal education, as well as Europass for documenting their skills and experiences. They explored various teaching methods to make these tools accessible to young people, ensuring that they know how to recognize and document their learning. It empowered youth workers with the skills to support their participants in an effective use of these tools, making their learning experiences more visible and valuable.
Within the second part of the day the youth workers explored such key environmental issues like climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss. The leaders of the mobility guided them on how to use digital platforms to raise awareness about the topics of the project through different campaigns. The aim was to connect the dots between environmental knowledge and digital advocacy, helping participants understand how they can leverage technology to address real-world problems.
The first mobility’s intercultural evening was devoted to two participant countries – Latvia and Denmark.
