Attention, active and dedicated participants of the “#SPIRCproject in EU Run&Walk” challenge! On April 14 at 15.00 on the BK-95 Facebook profile Live video, a draw will be held, in which we will find out the 6 lucky participants of the challenge who accumulated at least 20 km. Join and maybe you will be among the lucky ones. Baiba Martinsone, member of the board of the Olympic Center “Limbazi”, will be responsible for the lucky hand of the lottery.

The challenge organized by the association BK-95 in the Erasmus+ project “Sport Possibilities in Restriction Periods” was accepted by 120 participants who accumulated kilometers by running or walking for less than a month with the help of the STRAVA application.

The aim of the project is to promote sports and physical activity events, including competitions, during restricted periods. By implementing the project, it would be possible to introduce the culture of remote competitions at all levels of sports in order to maintain the motivation of both representatives of grassroots sports and pupils of vocational orientened sports institutions (sports schools, sports clubs) to play sports, compete and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The project aims to identify sports events that can be organized under limited conditions, develop a free guide, as well as collect and distribute good practice examples of organizing competitions during restrictions.
