From November 28 to December 1, 2024, the first transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ Sports project “Repeat in EU” took place in Istanbul, Turkiye, organized by the project coordinator the Turkish partner: Okul Faaliyetleri Derneği.

During the meeting, several important points and issues for the further development of the project were discussed, decisions were made regarding the project activity timetable and bilateral partner agreements were solemnly signed.

Main TM1 agenda items were the following:

1. Introduction of partner organizations and sharing of best practices.
2. Presentation of the project work package WP1.
3. Introduction to pedal cars and organizing remote pedal car events.
4. Introduction to the online application Strava and creating segments / challenges.
5. Inclusion of online meetings in the project timeline.
6. Practical work on developing the project Management and Communication Plan.
7. Discussion on the development of the Project Guide.
8. Development of the Project Visibility Campaign.
9. Sustainability Plan.

Thanks to the hospitality of the Turkish partner, we also visited the beautiful Istanbul and, of course, took a boat trip along the Bosphorus Strait, which connects the Sea of ​​Marmara and the Black Sea. This cultural activity promoted intercultural competence, as well as provided new knowledge about the Turkish culture, history and traditions.
