S.P.O.R.T. Day 4: Unity Through Sports and Mindfulness

Unity Through Sports simulation challenge demonstrated sports’ role in promoting unity, while Mindful Movement combined yoga with sports psychology, and the Leaders Forum facilitates networking and project pitches. The day included a Mid-Term Evaluation and also participant-led activities. The third Intercultural Night was led by the Italian participants.

Here are reflections of the Italian participants:

Irene de Mizio
My impression was overall very good, I really appreciated how the topic was held. We used sports to create community and reduce discrimination. We learnt a lot about how to organize an activity and present it to other people. I learnt that sports is an essential tool to create a new community.

Riccardo Atleti
I spent an amazing time here, improved my English, learned more about Europe and youth exchanges.
There was a good weather, and we visited nice place during the time when we were there. I created nice network with the other participants
.

Anna Salomone
The youth exchange was highly effective. Facilitation was excellent, with engaging activities closely aligned to the main theme. I gained valuable skills and connections.

Pietro Russo
My experience in sports has been nothing short of amazing! It gave me the chance to connect with people from all over Europe through a shared love of sport, building friendships and learning new skills along the way. The cultural exchange was enriching, and the teamwork and communication developed in the field positively impacted my life. I’m grateful for the memories, the challenges, and the incredible opportunities this Erasmus+ project provided.

Zakaria Korchi
I’m very happy to have taken part in this project! I learned so much both personally and through team building. It was my first experience in such a large group with so many different cultures, but it was surprisingly easy to build strong connections with everyone right away. And also the topic of the project was never boring during the whole period.

Patrik Lonigro
I liked the project, the activity was nice, and we had freedom to create our sport activities, the facilitator and the coordintaing organisation were very good. I’m so glad to have had this experience in Georgia.
