The results of the challenge “#SPIRCproject in EU Run&Walk” are known, in which the participants were invited to accumulate as many kilometers as possible by running or walking, as well as to be active, move and gain positive emotions, from March 7 to 31 via the STRAVA application.
The absolute leader who has accumulated 600 km during the challenge is Raimonds Grants. In the draw, which could be viewed on April 14 on the Live of the Facebook profile of the association “BK-95”, among all 120 participants of the challenge, 6 lucky recipients of prizes who accumulated at least 20 km were determined, and they are: Haralds Everts, Egija Straujuma, Dainis Homko, Klāvs Damsons, Kristaps Egle, Alice Daugule.
Raimonds, the most dedicated kilometer collector, will receive a special award. We will contact the winner and each of the winners of the draw and agree on a more convenient way to receive the prizes.
We thank each participant of the challenge and invite you to include physical activities in your daily life in the future!

The challenge was organized by the association “BK-95” as part of the Erasmus+ project “Sport Possibilities in Restriction Periods” co-financed by the European Union. The aim of the project is to ensure sports and physical activity events, including competitions, during restricted periods. By implementing the project, it would be possible to introduce the culture of remote competitions at all levels of sports in order to maintain the motivation of both representatives of grassroots sports and students of vocational oriented sports educational institutions (sports schools, sports clubs) to do sports, compete and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The project aims to identify sports events that can be organized under limited conditions, develop a free manual, as well as collect and distribute good practice examples of organizing competitions during restrictions.
